How to Avoid Traffic Congestion
Written by James Johnson
Great Britain is experiencing a considerable traffic congestion problem. The Department for Transport published a bulletin on various road statistics. The numbers show that the problem is not only currently present, but it is increasing at a rather exponential rate. Between the years of 2005 and 2006, it is estimated that the level of traffic increased by 7 billion vehicle kilometers to 506 billion vehicle kilometers. Of this vehicle traffic, car traffic accounted for 402.4 billion vehicle kilometers, or 79%.

The Revamped Volvo V70 With a Sporty Look and Sharper Driving Characteristics
Written by Richard Igo
The Volvo brand is not exactly synonymous with dramatic styling. When the Volvo V70 estate was launched it dominated the premium large estate car market, and defined the parameters by which estate cars were judged by mixing practicality, quality, comfort and desirability. The new version of Volvo V70 that appeared in May 2008 appears to be sportier with dynamic driving characteristics. The cabin has comfortable seating and side support.

Looks like this BMW Z4 wanted to go and find its family roots. This car was caught near BMW’s Spartanburg, South Carolina, which was the home of the first generation Z4.It doesn’t make much sense for this car to have its BMW badged masked. The car has already premiered, and it should be in showrooms by May. Either way, it’s nice to see the Z4 on U.S. soil.Related Keywords for this posts:Car body kits, fiero, inexpensive, bmw, mustang, cheap, 300zx, honda, 240sx, lift golf cart, 350z Read more from the source
Car Blogs -Top Ten Worst Badge Engineering Jobs
Badge engineering is when one company slaps their logo on someone else’s car without changing much else. We’re pretty sure it happens when auto executives go strolling around the auto shows and then say, Hey, that looks good, can I get one too? A phrase that works fine when a car exec spots an ice cream cone, but doesn’t work well for car manufacturing.Sometimes this has worked out fine for auto manufactures (like the Porsche Cayenne/VW Touareg/Audi Q7), and other times are a little half-baked (GM still apologizes for the Cadillac Cimarron.) This list celebrates the latter. We give leniency for to many of companies who sell the same car under different names to different markets (Daewoo, we’re looking at you.) This list is more about the thinly rebadged for another company, the same company using cars that directly compete, and cars that didn’t need to be repeated. The rules for this one are simple, the car had to be for sale somewhere in the world in 2008 and be another company’s bastard lovechild. Here is theRelated Keywords for this posts:Car body kits, fiero, inexpensive, bmw, mustang, cheap, 300zx, honda, 240sx, lift golf cart, 350z Read more from the source
Car Blogs -Having fun with the 2010 Mustang
C’mon, seriously? The Ford guys didn’t have enough test mules around to do a real video of the 2010 Mustang doing a few urban burnouts. Instead its all done by computer graphics. At least this fakie video is kinda cool. Then again the attention to detail couldn’t be too great, no one noticed the GT badging was backward.Related Keywords for this posts:Car body kits, fiero, inexpensive, bmw, mustang, cheap, 300zx, honda, 240sx, lift golf cart, 350z Read more from the source
Car Blogs -Jaguar XE may just be the F-Type
Our strange Jaguar fix may be over with. A few weeks ago we started hearing rumors that Jaguar was working on a supercar called the XE. The stories had the car pegged as a mid-engined successor to the XJ220, and a competitor to the Audi R8. Jaguar has never confirmed this car, and now AutoWeek is possibly shedding some light on this rumor.A reporter close to Jaguar says that the car called XE is in development, but Jag will launch an affordable, front-engine sports car, badged XE, not a supercar-badged XE. This means the XE is a competitor for the Porsche Boxster, Mercedes SLK and BMW Z4, which seems very close to the roadster that the press has usually called the F-Type…Hmmmmmmm.So have the rumors about this supercar really just been a game of telephone gone bad, or is Jaguar just trying to hide its next supercar? The first explanation makes the most sense (especially in this economy), but as supercar lovers, we hope the latter is the case.Related Keywords for this posts:Car body kits, fiero, inexpensive, bmw, mustang, cheap, 300zx, honda, 240sx, lift golf cart, 350z Read more from the source
Car Blogs -LRX production version to get four doors and badged Range Rover
Land Rover did it again…Back in 2004, it showed off the Range Stormer concept. It was acclaimed for being a cool looking sporty coupe/SUV, but when it came to the market, it showed up as the five-door Range Rover Sport. Not that the RR Sport is unattractive, but it’s no Stormer. So when we got a look at the Land Rover LRX at the Detroit Auto Show in 2008, we were hopeful that a sporty coupe/SUV was on the way. As it turns out, Land Rover gave us the ’ol bait-n-switch again.Land Rover’s managing director Phil Popham confirmed that the production version would carry the Range Rover name, which also would likely mean an addition of rear doors. It seems the LRX is being created as a way for Land Rover to double-up on another chassis. Where the Land Rover Sport uses the underpinnings from a LR3 (Discovery), the production LRX will share a chassis with the LR2 (Freelander). So for those who want a two-door Land Rover/Range Rover, then the only option is still the steadfast Defender — unless you live in the U.S., thRelated Keywords for this posts:Car body kits, fiero, inexpensive, bmw, mustang, cheap, 300zx, honda, 240sx, lift golf cart, 350z Read more from the source
